Cornbury Horse Trials

Cornbury Horse Trials is one of those events that just makes you feel good.

Set in the stunning grounds of Cornbury Park, it has a relaxed, luxurious atmosphere from the moment you arrive. The show jumping courses look amazing and the cross country course is beautifully laid out and maintained.

There are bars dotted around the course, so you can sit down with a drink and watch the action. It’s great for spectators: you get a clear view of the course and the whole setup feels a bit like a smaller version of Badminton, just without the huge crowds or stressful parking. It’s also much more affordable to get in.

The shopping is genuinely good, with a mix of interesting artists and quality brands. There’s excellent food, fun party tents and an overall vibe that’s somewhere between a festival and a very smart horse event. It’s well worth a visit.
